Biogasclean is heading to Ecomondo 2026 in Rimini from 3–6 November, where Per Møller Hansen and Alvaro Krag Maldonado will join the Cycle0 team for one of Europe’s major meeting points for green and circular technologies.
Ecomondo is one of the major meeting points for green and circular technologies in the Mediterranean region. The 2025 event welcomed around 103,000 visitors and 1,700 exhibitors, with strong representation from the waste-to-resource, bioenergy and agriculture sectors and a significant share of senior industry decision-makers.
For Biogasclean, Ecomondo is particularly relevant because of the continued development of the Italian biogas and biomethane sector. Italy already has a well-established biogas industry, while new biomethane projects and the conversion of existing biogas plants are creating new opportunities for plant optimisation and gas treatment technologies.
Cycle0 Group is also investing in Italy, with one brownfield conversion, Corte Pila, now producing biomethane and another greenfield biomethane plant known as Green Park 5 due for completion in 2026. This phase 1 investment of new infrastructure totals around €100 million.
At Ecomondo, Per and Alvaro will be available together with the Cycle0 team to discuss biological desulphurisation and e-methanation, and how these technologies can support both new biomethane projects and the optimisation of existing European plants.
We are looking forward to meeting customers, partners and industry colleagues in Rimini and learning more about the projects and developments shaping the Italian biogas and biomethane market.
