Modular biogas liquefaction technology
Plug and play liquefaction solutions to add value to your biomethane production
Our modular, small-scale liquefaction units are designed to be easily transported and installed in remote or rural locations.
We employ market-leading technology to deliver high efficiencies at low operating costs.
Why liquefy biogas?
In its compressed form (Bio-CNG), biomethane normally has an economic radius of 100 km. When injecting into the gas grid is not an option, biomethane can be converted to liquefied biomethane (Bio-LNG).
Bio-LNG can be transported over long distances and has a higher energy content. One litre of liquefied gas is equal to three litres of compressed gas, making bio-LNG the most efficient solution for decarbonising the heavy-duty and marine transport industries.
FAQs
Q: What does small to medium scale mean for your liquefaction technology?
A: Our modular liquefaction units can range from 5 to 20 tonnes per day of Bio-LNG production.
Q: Can Bio-LNG be used directly as fuel for a regular LNG truck?
A: Yes. Bio-LNG can be used directly in LNG trucks, making it a sustainable option to fossil LNG.
Q: How is Bio-LNG stored and transported?
A: Bio-LNG can be stored in cryogenic tanks and transported in trucks. Bio-LNG can also travel longer distances and has a higher energy content than Bio-CNG.
We look forward to meeting you!
Please contact us if you need an efficient solution for desulfurization or methanation of biogas or CO2. We can help you for any flow of biogas or CO2 flow and H2S load no matter if your project is greenfield or refurbishment of an existing plant. We will be happy to share our experience with you and find an optimal solution for your needs.
